Updated: Aug 28

Welcome to another week of Sunday Sips! Every Sunday, we'll be sharing creative recipes that use our delicious tea blends. From refreshing iced teas to mouthwatering tea-infused desserts and cocktails, we've got something special for every tea lover out there.

This week, we're kicking off with a bang (and a bit of fizz) with our Raspberry Jito. This delightful concoction combines the elegance of Peony White Tea with the fruity goodness of dried raspberries, apples, and pears, and the refreshing zest of lemon peel and verbena. Throw in a hint of hibiscus and the coolness of peppermint and spearmint, and you've got yourself a tea blend that’s ready to party!

Raspberry Jito Recipe

Raspberry Jito

Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon Raspberry Jito tea blend

- 4 cups water

- 1/2 cup fresh raspberries

- 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves

- Juice of 2 lemons

- 1 tablespoon honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

- Club soda or sparkling water

- Ice

- Lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions:

1. Brew the Tea:

Start by boiling 4 cups of water. Add 1 tablespoon of our Raspberry Jito tea blend and let it steep for 5-7 minutes. Enjoy the fragrant aroma as the tea infuses with fruity and minty notes.

2. Strain and Cool:

Strain the tea leaves and let the tea cool to room temperature. This is where the magic begins!

3. Muddle the Fresh Ingredients:

In a pitcher, muddle the fresh raspberries and mint leaves together. This releases their natural juices and oils, adding a burst of flavor to your drink.

4. Mix the Lemonade:

Add the cooled tea, lemon juice, and honey (if using) to the pitcher. Stir well to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness if needed.

5. Add the Fizz:

Just before serving, top off your Raspberry Jito with club soda or sparkling water for a refreshing fizz.

6. Serve:

Fill your glasses with ice and pour in the Raspberry Jito. Garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs for an extra touch of elegance.

And there you have it – your very own Raspberry Jito! This drink is perfect for a sunny afternoon on the porch, a garden party, or any time you need a refreshing pick-me-up. Each sip is a delightful dance of flavors, making it the perfect companion for your summer days.

We hope you enjoyed this first edition of Sunday Sips. Stay tuned for more tea-infused recipes that will elevate your tea game and bring joy to your taste buds. Cheers to flavorful sips and sunny days!
