Updated: Aug 28

Hello, tea lovers! This Sunday Sips, we're taking you on a tropical journey with our Summer Breeze Sangria. This delightful blend of Kumaon white tea, dried mango, dried persimmons, dried blackberries, hibiscus, dried strawberries, and dried papaya is perfect for creating a fruity sangria that will be the star of your summer gatherings.

Picture yourself lounging on a sunny patio, surrounded by friends, with a glass of our refreshing Summer Breeze Sangria in hand. It's the epitome of summer in a glass, and we're here to show you how to make this crowd-pleaser with ease and style.

Summer Breeze Sangria Recipe

Summer Breeze Sangria

Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon Summer Breeze tea blend

- 4 cups water

- 1 cup white wine (optional)

- Fresh fruit (mango, persimmons, blackberries, strawberries, papaya) for garnish

- Honey or sweetener of choice (optional)

- Ice

Instructions:

1. Brew the Tea:

Begin your sangria adventure by heating 4 cups of water. Once it's nice and hot, add 1 tablespoon of our Summer Breeze tea blend. Let it steep for 5-7 minutes, allowing all those tropical flavors to come to life. Your kitchen will start smelling like a paradise island – you're welcome!

2. Strain and Cool:

Strain the tea leaves and let the tea cool to room temperature. We know it's tempting, but patience is a virtue, and your sangria will thank you for it.

3. Mix the Sangria:

In a pitcher, combine the cooled tea with 1 cup of white wine if you're feeling a bit fancy (and over 21). No judgment if you skip this step for a mocktail version – it'll be delicious either way. Stir in honey or your preferred sweetener if you like a touch of extra sweetness.

4. Chill:

Pop that pitcher in the fridge and let it chill for at least 2 hours. This gives the flavors time to meld into a harmonious blend of fruity goodness. The longer it chills, the more sublime it becomes.

5. Serve:

When you're ready to impress your guests (or just pamper yourself), serve the sangria over ice. Garnish with a medley of fresh fruit – mango slices, persimmon chunks, blackberries, strawberries, and papaya bits. Each sip will transport you to a tropical paradise.

And there you have it – your very own Summer Breeze Sangria! Perfect for summer barbecues, garden parties, or any occasion that calls for a touch of tropical flair.

We hope you enjoyed this edition of Sunday Sips. Stay tuned for more tea-infused recipes that will elevate your tea game and bring joy to your taste buds.

Cheers to a summer filled with sunshine and sangria! 🥭🍓🍷
